I was a bit apprehensive about this trip, as not only was the price low (approx. £500pp for flights, luggage, hotel all inclusive and transfers) but also this was my first trip abroad. But honestly, I wouldn't think twice about going back! All the staff were lovely, the facilities were great, and the hotel is very well located within Lloret. We went all-inclusive, and other than some of the food being very same-y (what do you expect from a buffet-style fare) we loved it! The drinks came strong and delicious, the food was unlimited, and for the price the value was fabulous. It's a very short walk to the beach, around a 30-minute walk to the waterpark, and you're surrounded by shops. The strip is around a 20-minute walk away, with some amazing nightlife and local shops all intertwined. The room was lovely, we stayed on one of the upper floors in a double room with a balcony. The bed was amazingly comfy, and housekeeping staff replaced towels and cleaned the room every day. The entertainment was great in the evenings (even for a pair of young holidaymakers) and genuinely, I cant rave enough about the whole trip. If every holiday was like this, going away would be a breeze.

“Overall, all good, but busy canteen and many teenagers in June”

Good value for this price. All good, but nothing special. Receptionists, waiters and cleaning ladies were polite. Busy in the canteen, que up to 7 minutes to get a coffee. However, food was good. Fresh meat and fish every day. Sweets, fruits, ice-cream.

We stayed at Hotel htop Amatista in Lloret de Mar for a week on a half-board basis and found it to be very good value for money. The rooms are basic but clean, with air conditioning and a balcony — simple but comfortable. The location is great, just a short walk to a lovely beach and with an easy bus connection into the main town. The staff were excellent — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was perfectly good for the price, with enough variety to keep things interesting. The only real downside was the breakfast coffee — the machines were unreliable, often leaving long queues in the morning. Not the staff’s fault, but something the hotel should address. The rooftop facilities were closed during our stay, which was a shame, but overall, it’s a solid choice for a budget-friendly holiday.
